Members-only or signed-in captions need cookies from a desktop browser on your machine. On this server, set Cookies from browser to None, or run Shelf locally.

Leave blank to use the default downloads folder for this tool.

Used when not downloading all tracks (for example en or fa).

For members-only or age-gated captions, choose the browser where you are signed in to YouTube.

Tips

Plain .txt files are written by default. Original .vtt / .srt files are removed after conversion unless you keep them. Quote URLs when using the CLI.
